André Aalders – IT Professional since 1982. My main focus and interest has been on the Infrastructure side of IT (Operating Systems, Networking / Connectivity and Storage as well as Back-Up / Disaster Recovery) and nowadays specifically on virtualization, cloud technology and Hyperconverged Infrastructures.
Within the virtualization market space I focus primarily on VMware. This obviously means keeping up with certifications. Currently I hold valid certifications on VMware vSphere (VCP-DCV 2020 and VCAP5-DCA), VMware Horizon (VCP7-DTM), VMware Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV) and vCloud (VCP-Cloud) and have obtained the vSAN Specialist 2017 qualification. I also have a current AWS Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS SysOps – Associate certification.
Besides this I am a VMware Certified Instructor (VCI), an AWS Authorized Instructor (AAI) and Certified Technical Trainer (CompTIA CTT+).
I love sharing my knowledge with others (and learn from other people’s experiences) which is why I spend a great deal of time giving VMware and AWS training courses. Besides these activities I am available to assist in designing, implementing or migrating/updating virtualized infrastructure environments.
